In this section we feature our exclusive Melvin
Gonzalez collection: Scenes from the Boruca Wild.
Handcarved and painted by Melvin himself, the masks in this
collection are more works of art than ritual artifacts.
Without departing from the format of his Boruca Eco Fantasy
pieces, Melvin presents the bloody struggle for survival
in breathtaking realism.
Each scene is handcarved in a single piece of Balsa wood
and handpainted in a painstaking process that takes
him hours.
The mask is aproximately 18 inches tall and is signed by
the artist.
IMPORTANT: only three masks of each scene are produced and
each is truly unique. The photographs you are seeing are specifically
taken of this mask. Additional pictures might be available.
The mask only weights 1 to 2 pounds but our packaging
will increase its weight to 40 pounds of dimensional weight.
The shipment is fully insured.
